Beavers Set To Host UCLA, USC This Weekend

Beavers Continue, Complete Homestand
• Oregon State wraps up its season-long four-match homestand when welcoming UCLA and USC to Gill Coliseum.
• Friday's match against UCLA starts at 6 p.m. PT. It is the team's annual DAM Cancer match - purchase a DAM Cancer t-shirt at the OSU BeaverStore across the street from Gill Coliseum and receive free admission to all DAM Cancer events. Proceeds benefit Project H.E.R.
• OSU continues and completes the homestand Sunday when hosting USC. That match starts at noon.

• Both matches are set to air live on Pac-12 Oregon and Pac-12 Los Angeles.

• Kevin Barnett and Al Scates will call Friday's match against the Bruins. On Sunday, Anne Marie Anderson and Holly McPeak will be behind the mic.

Against The LA Schools
• Oregon State is 3-56 all-time against the Bruins, with one of those wins coming in Corvallis.
• The Beavers are 9-50 against USC. Oregon State last won in 2014, the team's sixth all-time at home in the series.

Last Week
• Mary-Kate Marshall combined for 30 kills and Lanesha Reagan tallied 29, but OSU was edged by WSU and Washington.

Aces
• Mary-Kate Marshall has 1,187 kills in her two-plus seasons at Oregon State. She needs 13 more to pass Rachel Hochgesang (1993-96) for eighth-most all-time at Oregon State.
• McKenna Hollingsworth has 981 career assists, and with 19 more, will become the 11th player in Oregon State history to reach 1,000.
• Ellis is averaging 4.15 digs per set this season. Only Becky Defoe (4.62 in 2011) has averaged more at Oregon State during their sophomore season.
• She also just surpassed Megan McBride for 30th all-time in school history with 614 digs.
• The four-set matches against WSU and UW snapped a streak of seven consecutive sweeps involving the Beavers. Oregon State had gone 4-3 over those matches.
• The team continued its work in the community this week. The Beavers visited Philomath Elementary on Monday. Members of the team interacted with second graders to talk teamwork, volleyball and being a student-athlete.
• Previously, in September, they visited Lincoln Elementary in Corvallis to deliver school supplies that had been donated by fans during the team's season-opening tournament at Gill Coliseum.
